Since I have to write something this week, and I'm not one for making up stories, I'll just go ahead and tell you, this one's going to be massively boring. I'm having a great time, but the most exciting thing that happened to me since last post was getting off work early one night. It's kind of hard to wring entertainment value out of your everyday life each week. The things that mattered to me this week (the smell of laundry detergent, the texture of days old snow, finishing an assignment at the last minute) aren't riveting Content. The cold weather is holding. Big shocker. My roommates and I have started pooling our money to buy groceries in bulk, to save money. Exciting stuff. I spotted a lot of chickadees on my walks and runs this week. They like to sit down in the bushes of the residential areas. Thursday night I saw nine deer outside the library after work: that's a record. Usually there are only two or three. That's all I've got to report. Maybe I'll do something sensational next week to keep things exciting on this Wix.com page for whatever poor interns have to read this.
